OPPORTUNITIES FOR PEDIATRIC INTENSIVE CARE UNIT TRAINING IN CHENNAI

Dr Mehta’s Hospital is a 220 bedded hospital in Chennai, comprehensive centre of Excellence accredited by NABH and ISO 9001-2008. To name a few pediatric sub-specialties are Pediatric Nephrology, Pediatric Hematology, Pediatry Pulmonology, Neonatology, Pediatric Intensive Care, Emergency and Transport. The Hospital is also a recognized training centre for DNB and Fellowship courses. Mehta Children’s Hospital is one of the leading Pediatric Centre of South India and acknowledged nationally and internationally. The PICU at MCH is a nine bedded multispecialty unit that admits around 500-600 patients per year. Candidates get exposure to a wide variety of medical and surgical conditions requiring intensive care.
